🌟 A Day of Learning and Development at Ab Phab! 🌟

Yesterday, the Ab Phab team took part in a full day of training, refreshing our knowledge and skills across three essential areas: Food Hygiene, Medication Administration, and First Aid.

A huge thank you to Christina and Jamie for delivering the courses. The sessions were informative, engaging, and practical, providing valuable updates and reinforcing best practice across our team. Everyone came away with new knowledge, increased confidence, and a renewed commitment to delivering outstanding support.

At Ab Phab, we believe that investing in regular training is vital. Continuous learning ensures our staff have the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to provide the highest quality care and support to the young people and families we work with every day. By keeping our training up to date, we can continue to deliver safe, effective, and person-centred services that make a positive difference.

🎉 Congratulations to our parents who joined us for our Parent Makaton Session yesterday!🥳

We hope you found the session enjoyable, informative, and that the new communication skills you learned will help you connect and communicate even more effectively.

A huge thank you to Paige for delivering such an engaging and informative session. Your knowledge, enthusiasm, and practical guidance made the session a valuable experience for both parents and young people alike.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Barking & Dagenham Sendiass for delivering a helpful session to Evolve group focused on SEND appointments and the support available to families. It was great to see parents taking advantage of the opportunity to access valuable information, advice, and guidance.

A huge well done to our fantastic member, who was chosen by her peers to receive this month's Jack Petchey Achievement Award! 💙

She has shown outstanding participation in workshops, embraced new opportunities, and made a real effort to get involved with her friends. Through her enthusiasm and determination, she has continued to develop her confidence, communication, and social skills, making her a truly deserving winner.

We are incredibly proud of everything she has achieved and can't wait to celebrate her success by putting on her chosen reward activity this month – our very own 🤠🐂 RODEO EXPERIENCE! 🐂🤠
