📌 A Friendly Community Reminder 📌

As we head into a season of sunny weekends, lighter evenings and school holidays, we'd like to kindly ask everyone to help us protect the playing fields at The D**e.

Croesyceiliog Athletic FC is a grassroots, not for profit club that provides football opportunities for children, young people and adults across our community. Our pitches are maintained by dedicated volunteers and rely on the support and respect of everyone who uses the area.

By working together, we can help keep the facilities safe, accessible and enjoyable for all, while reducing unnecessary damage to the playing surfaces and helping prevent injuries.

We respectfully ask that the playing areas managed by the club are not used for:

🚫 Alcohol consumption (inc. bottles & cans)
🚫 BBQs, fires or disposable grills
🚫 Bikes, ATVs or other vehicles

Please help us by:

✅ Cleaning up after your dog
✅ Using designated public paths and open areas
✅ Disposing of litter in the bins provided

We are proud to be part of this community and appreciate the continued support and understanding of local residents. By looking after these facilities together, we can ensure they remain available for current and future generations of players.

🏆🏆 Festival Report 🏆🏆

Croesyceiliog Athletic FC U9s – Lliswerry Festival

What a day for Croesyceiliog Athletic U9s at the Lliswerry Festival! 🔥

The boys faced tough opposition from Graig Villa Dinos, two Lliswerry teams, and Riverside, but from the very first whistle they were outstanding.

Every player gave 100%, showing incredible heart, determination, and teamwork throughout the day. The effort, desire, and attitude on display were second to none, with the team battling for every ball and playing some fantastic football. Win, lose, or draw, the boys never stopped working for each other and represented the club brilliantly.

A huge congratulations to our Player of the Day 🥇 Tigger, who was simply unstoppable in front of goal, scoring an incredible 6 goals across the festival. His hard work, energy, and finishing were outstanding and fully deserved the recognition.

Most importantly, the players had a fantastic day, made more great memories together, and did Croesyceiliog Athletic proud. Well done, boys – keep up the great work! ⚽️⚽️

Croesyceiliog Athletic FC Under 12's for 2026/27 will be at Asda, Cwmbran on Saturday 9am - 2pm.

They will be there appealing to the generous Cwmbran community to donate funds to help purchase essential equipment for the upcoming football season ⚽️⚽️

🏆🏆 U7's Tournament Report 🏆🏆

Croesyceiliog Athletic FC U7's took part in their 1st ever end of season tournament at Undy AFC a well run and organised tournament to take part in, so firstly our thanks go to Undy for hosting a great tournament 👏
Athletic found themselves in a great group, with lots of talented teams from all over.
Playing matches against Thornbury from Gloucestershire, Chepstow, Undy and local rivals Coed Eva.
All matches were well contested with some cracking football on display, all lads dug deep and done the club proud.
Our tournament players of the day went to big Harley and Jack,well done boys.🖤💙
