Cwmbran and District Amateur Radio Society is inviting anyone interested in radio communication to come along to its weekly meetings.

The group helps people learn about amateur radio, gain a licence and connect with enthusiasts across the world.

Meetings take place every Wednesday from 7pm to 9pm at Henllys Village Community Hall.

The club welcomes visitors and encourages both old and new members to come along.

It’s Election Day!

Today, the hall will be used as a polling station for the Senedd election. Like many other polling stations up and down the country, we will be open from:

07:00 to 22:00

If we are your local polling station, make sure you come in to cast your vote.

There’s no need to bring your polling card, and ID is not required to vote in a Senedd election.

Baby College (Every Tues 9:30am–12pm)

Baby College Cardiff and Newport is a science-based, research-backed developmental class for little ones from birth to age 3+. Sessions are designed to help children learn, play, and grow through engaging, structured activities.

Each age group has a class tailored to its developmental stage, ensuring every activity is suited to the children’s needs.

Activities in class include:
Signing | Singing | Movement | Cognitive and fine motor skills | Sensory play | Tummy time | Action songs | Parachute play | Bubbles | & more!

It’s always lovely to welcome new families to the class. Trial classes are £8, and monthly plans cost just £24.44 per month.
