💙 Let’s get behind Sarah Roe! 💙

Our wonderful colleague Sarah from The Firs is fundraising for Alzheimer’s Society, a cause that is very close to her heart and one that is impacting her family every day.

To raise money, Sarah is taking on the incredible Trek26 Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) challenge. Trek26 is a trek of 13 miles through the heart of the stunning Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. Every step taken helps to support people affected by dementia and funds vital research and services provided by Alzheimer’s Society.

Many of us know just how devastating dementia can be for individuals and their loved ones.

If you’re able to spare a little change, we’d love for you to show your support. Every donation, no matter the size, will help make a difference and will mean so much to Sarah as she prepares for this amazing challenge.

Yesterday, two people who were so special to many of us across Expanding Horizons and Enable Care passed away peacefully, surrounded by love. They will be missed enormously.

The deeply rooted relationships between carers and the people they support are not always easily understood by others, but the loss is nonetheless felt so profoundly.

Thinking of both our teams and everyone experiencing loss today. We have cherished memories and each other, and take comfort in the love and care shared over so many years. xx
