We’re very pleased to finally announce our logo! 🥰🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

We’ve been working on it for a while, and we felt it was right to announce it on June 1st, to mark the beginning of Pride month 💜🌈

We feel this logo perfectly captures what we stand for. We’ve used the Progress Pride flag to represent marginalised communities, as we encourage equality in everything we do. We’re not here to pinkwash you, so this isn’t just our logo for Pride month, this is our logo permanently.

We’ve used the OpenDyslexic font to be as accessible as possible, while the mushrooms represent horticulture as one of our passions, with the roots also symbolising this, as well as personal growth, stability, and foundation building. 🌾🌿🪴

Our Journey So Far 💭🔮

A lot of people are unaware of what Gardd O Gobaith truly means, so this post should help clear it up 🥹❤️‍🔥

In November 2022, a chat with the team at gave birth to the foundation of Gardd O Gobaith 🧠✊🏽🏳️‍⚧️🌱

The site, at the bottom of the carpark of The Queen Inn was full of rubbish (left by previous ‘occupiers’) and it was treated as a dumping site. But, ( and ) had a vision - that with the help of the team at The Queen Inn, we could turn an unused and mistreated space into something very special, and that’s what we have done. We’re now 6 months in, only able to dedicate ‘free time’ to the project, and it’s came on leaps and bounds 📈

is determined to make Gardd O Gobaith a truly exciting, vibrant, ethically focussed and diverse community space which offers education, wellbeing support and mental health training. We will offer gardening and craft-based activities for our local community to engage with, supporting all people to achieve their best and maintain good wellbeing 🧠💚

Calling all competitive people 😈🗣️

The Queen Inn is holding their first ever Games Night, in collaboration with Gardd O Gobaith! Bring your own games, or use some supplied by us. There will be plenty of knowledgable gurus to help you find a new favourite game ♟️🎲♠️

We will also be hosting bingo, starting around 7:30, which will be totally free to enter, and we’re giving away some prizes that you do NOT want to miss out on! 👀

We will have a super short menu for some light snacks while you play, and we’ll be open until late.

We’d recommend booking a table whether you’re eating or not, as we feel this event may get busy.

We’re here! 🥳

With Mental Health Awareness Week starting Monday 15th May, we felt it was the right time to finally announce our Instagram page. A lot of people will be unaware of what we’re about, so this page should help clarify our plans, and what we stand for 🧠✊🏽🏳️‍⚧️🌱

We’re ran by and based at the bottom of car park, and have a long-term vision of being a hub for the community, offering a place for anyone to visit, regardless of what situation you’re in. We’re currently still under development, although we’re getting really excited about the future 🥹

We have a big announcement coming tomorrow, so please follow us to keep up to date! ♟️♥️
