This section was the compost heap. It’s now a water sink for frog spawn and fly larvae .
Bring it is cardboard , then lots of weeds to compost , more cardboard then too dressed with out win compost .
Not it’s rosemary bed which is composting away out of sight , braw

Not seen since the last ice age , at maidens castle we find this wonderful specimen .
Just goes to show that science isn’t always right

Out and about doing pollinator counts across different areas of the Eden catchment area . It’s generally very positive in numbers and great to see the wide variety of species thst live here .
