The A.G. Barr board must surely see the value of their workers to their business. If they can afford to spend £12.3 million on acquiring another business, why are they not offering more than a 5% pay offer to our members?

It’s time to invest in their workforce and realise that workers are the “secret recipe” of their success. Will the board of this highly successful Scottish company do the right thing and up the offer? 🤔

We had two visits in Edinburgh today, to Juniper Partners and Premier Asset Finance. We have found links to Directors from A.G. Barr with these companies via other businesses, the links are there for sure!

We will continue to visit these companies until our requests have been carried out, we are not going away!

Mandy thanks to Cumbernauld Councillor James McPhilemy for your support today. James knows that locally based workers like our members should not have to take industrial action. Their employer A.G.Barr surely must realise that a 5% pay offer is simply not enough. After all, they are a highly profitable company who have plenty of cash in the bank.

The C.E. of A.G. Barr is well aware of Strike and Strykk. This person is also a Director of Elegantly Spirited Ltd who produce non-alcoholic drinks called Strykk. Clearly someone is making cash out of a Strykk! End the strike at A.G.Bart by increasing the pay offer!

Juniper Partners, secretary for Troy Income & Growth Trust received another visit from us today. The CE of A.G.Barr/Director of Troy and his colleague on the Troy board keep burying their heads in the sand. It would be great if you could respond to our letters but even better if the CE of A.G.Barr could offer his workers a fair and decent pay rise. There are more of us on these visits and we are getting louder by the way!✊🏻

We were out widening the net down in Ayr today by visiting and Carr’s Billington. Two members of the A.G.Barr board are also Directors of the parent companies of these two firms. A.G.Barr needs to up the pay offer and show their workers that they value their contribution.

We paid another visit to Juniper Partners in Edinburgh today. This firm acts as secretary for Troy Income & Growth Trust. The CE of A.G.Barr is also a Director of Troy.

Our presence was noted by those at Juniper and also by some of Juniper’s neighbours, who appeared less than happy about us being there. Our team will leave no stone unturned in our pursuit of fair and decent pay for our members.

The message to the Chief Executive of A.G. Barr and his colleagues on the board is clear, up the pay offer and show that you value your workers.
