Update on Chloe

Thank you for standing with Chloe in prayer in her illness. Chloe continues to receive treatment, however we thank Almighty God that her condition has now stabilized, the oxygen support has been discontinued, she is able to talk, her feeding tube has been removed, and is able to eat.

However, Chloe remains weak and still requires assistance to walk and is being monitored for any related complications.

Chloe's condition was caused by a malaria brain infection and this can have very serious & disabling consequences for children if not treated in time.

Please continue praying that Chloe will soon be restored to full strength and reunited with her family and classmates at Mulyata School.

Yesterday, one of our grade 2 pupils, Chloe Mwale Mutende became very unwell, after suffering convulsions she lost consciousness and was rushed to hospital for urgent medical care. Chloe received treatment in ICU for some hours. We are thankful that she is receiving the care she needs, and are encouraged to see that her condition is beginning to stabilize.

The doctors continue to carry out tests and assessments to determine the cause of her condition.

We continue to trust God for wisdom for the medical team and for Chloe's full recovery.

Please keep Chloe in your prayers during this difficult time.

How has there been no interest in this amazing boy yet?? He didn’t have the best beginning but that doesn’t affect his loyalty to humans amazingly! He’s the best boy with dogs of all shapes and sizes. He’s gentle with children he has met (dog savvy children of course) and would be a great addition to almost any home. 🏡
Duke would just love for someone to take him under their wing and give him the opportunity to be the wonderful dog we know he is 🙌🐾
