❤️Last Game Of the Season

Played a VERY strong WBB team.
Cullompton went into half time 2-0 up , then got pegged back to 2-2, but didn’t panic, and managed to find a winner to not only win the game 3-2, but also complete an unbelievable 100% winning league season

The girls showed exactly what they’re about . Played some incredible football at times, created lots of chances, scored a couple of really good goals, and when things started going against us they all dug in, fought for everything, and battled so hard for each other. Genuinely couldn’t have asked for any more from any of them all season. Well done girls, so so proud of all of you, and you should all be really proud of yourselves and each other.

🖤Ottery St Mary YFC 6-a-side Tournament

Fantastic effort from the girls today. Only had 7 players due to injury's and sickness.

The day started with three defeats

Lost 2-0 vs Div 1 champs Exmouth, 1-0 vs Div 1 Ottery, and 3-2 vs Div 2 Axminster (despite PJ scoring goal of the day, top bins!) but we gave all of them really tough games 👏

That put us in the Plate league, where we beat one Ottery team 1-0, lost to the other 2-0, then beat Div 1 Stoke Hill 1-0 to secure our place at the top of the group in the Plate final.

Ended up against the Ottery team that had already beaten us twice. Had a good go at them but eventually lost 2-0. But as the only Div 3 team there, I think runners up in the Plate is a fantastic achievement so well done girls, another medal for the collection 🥈❤️🖤

⚽️U15 Girls Weekend Results⚽️

🔴Saturday - Fantastic effort from the girls over at the Culm tournament 👏👏👏

Group wins against Moors & Culm Sampford, narrowly lost to Div 2 Stoke Hill, then came within 2mins of beating a very good Div 2 Crediton, which ended in a 1-1 draw. Finished 3rd in our group

Then got knocked out in the 1/4 Final match by an excellent Div 1 Ottery St Mary, who went on to win the whole thing.

⚫️Sunday - Another convincing win👏👏
10-0 against a much improved Newton Town who battled really hard for the whole game.

Still 0-0 after 15mins, then we hit the post, But we broke through eventually,

Erinn scored what felt like a 30 second hat trick
(probably around 4 mins), and all of a sudden we’re going in 6-0 up at half time, job done. One more to go

The coaches player of the match award goes to Kacie. First matches back this weekend after returning from injury . Some great football played at the tournament on Saturday. Played a part in 4 of the 5 games, and provided a direct assist with a sore wrist 😀.

The managed to play most of the match on Sunday. Still in some pain and discomfort, only needing to rest the injury for about 20 mins. Excellent effort Kacie P 👏👏

Erinn was voted the oppositions player of the match and actually went home with the match ball after her fantastic Hat Trick ⚽️⚽️⚽️. Well Done
