Cullompton Rangers FC Youth

This weekend, our incredible 18-month unbeaten league run came to an end with a hard-fought 5-2 defeat against a strong Crediton Youth side.
It was a classic game of two halves. After a slightly slow first half, the girls showed immense character to rally in the second. An early goal at the start of the second half put us right back in the game, but it wasn't to be our day.
A good overall performance against one of the division's strongest teams—while missing three players—is something to be incredibly proud of.
A special mention to today's award winners and goal scorers:
🌟 Erinn – who secured her first goal of the season!
🌟 Ruby W – who was voted Opposition's Player of the Match!
🌟 Polina – who channelled her inner Ronald Koeman, driving forward from defence to score a spectacular goal from outside the penalty area to finish the match! Polina was also voted Coaches' Player of the Match!
To go a year and a half without a single league defeat is an unbelievable milestone. More importantly, the girls have achieved this with total humility and zero arrogance. They are a credit to their parents, their club, and the community.
Coaches Damo & Gav are enormously proud of every single one of them. If we carry that second-half performance into the rest of the season, we are going to be right up there at the end!
Thank you to all the parents and supporters for your continued backing. Onwards and upwards! 💪⚽❤️🖤
Well done to Crediton. We look forward to the return fixture later in the season.

Match Update: 🔴⚫️⚽️
Twyford Spartans 2 - 4 Cullompton Rangers U16 Girls

Our U16 Girls secured a well-deserved 4-2 victory away at Twyford Spartans on Sunday morning
The scoreline only tells half the story of a highly competitive fixture. After losing a few key players to injuries during the match, the team's depth and tactical adaptability were put to the test. The girls responded with outstanding togetherness, adjusting to forced positional changes and working tirelessly for one another to keep control of the game.
Ruby W led the clinical frontline display with a brilliant hat-trick, earning the Opposition's Player of the Match honors.
On her first game back, Jamie capped off a tireless performance with a goal and was named the Coaches Player of the Match.

We send our best wishes to the girls who picked up knocks during the match.

Our next fixture is on September 27th away against the Broadclyst Lionesses.

Thank you to Twyford Spartans for a great game.
