🌱 Could You Help Shape the Future of Our Community Centre? 🌱

We're looking for enthusiastic people from across our community to get involved in helping develop exciting projects and events at the community centre.

Over the past year we've been growing and evolving, with projects including our hydroponics growing initiative, farmers' markets, community celebrations, fundraising events and much more planned for the future.

We're particularly keen to hear from people who can bring fresh ideas, new perspectives, and skills in areas such as marketing, social media, fundraising, finance, event planning, project management, or community development.

You don't need previous trustee experience – just a passion for supporting your local community and helping make things happen.

Whether you're a young professional, parent, business owner, student, or simply someone who wants to make a positive difference, we'd love to hear from you.

There are opportunities to get involved at different levels, including joining our Board of Trustees and helping shape the future direction of the centre.

🌞 Welcome June! 🌞

A new month is here, and there's plenty happening at the community centre as we head into summer!
This week you'll find some familiar faces and fantastic activities taking place:
🧶 Our wonderful Knitters Group will be meeting as usual, creating, chatting, and sharing skills.
🪡 The Lace Making Group will also be gathering, continuing the beautiful traditional craft that always fascinates visitors.
🌱 Exciting progress is being made with our hydroponic growing project! We've started cultivating the first of our seeds for the towers, and we can't wait to watch them grow over the coming weeks and months.

👶🏻Don't forget we also have our wonderful little baby group at The Haven on Friday Mornings, it's always a joy to see those wee faces 🥰

☕ This Saturday we're hosting a Coffee Morning in aid of Breast Cancer, and we'd love your support. Come along for a cuppa, some home baking, good company, and help us raise funds for an important cause.
As always, everyone is welcome. Whether you're coming to an activity, popping in for a chat, or interested in finding out more about what we do, we'd love to see you.

As we are now into the start of the Volunteers Week we want to show our appreciation to everyone connected to the Cullen Community Centre.
Theres so much goes on ,on a daily basis at the Centre which helps us to thrive now and in the future.

It's finally Friday!!! And what a week it's been.....we've been a busy community centre this week with our user groups, the fabulous community lunch, Anne, Jo and the lovely volunteers keeping folk fed and watered at The Haven and we have a residential group in this weekend and there's been lots of networking and connecting with lots of lovely people!

Behind the scenes the farmers market is shaping up nicely, there are celebrations ahead for the 150th anniversary of Cullen School and the ideas that people have voiced have been getting researched so watch this space 🧐 but for now have a lovely weekend and hopefully the sun will still be shining for you all 🌞
