Auction Preview – Grand Scouts Supper 🔨

We’ve had some fantastic new items donated for the auction at our Grand Scouts Supper on Saturday 25 April, and a few highlights include:

We are delighted to advise that our recently planned and newly enhanced campfire, firepit and barbecue book, ‘Songs, Verse, Yells and Stunts – Enhanced Edition’ is now globally available from Amazon. Released on 3rd December this new edition is written as a resource to help people of most ages to stage, run or take part in a successful Scout or Guide style traditional campfire, fire pit party or community barbecue event.

It features a handcrafted array of drawings, sketches and painted illustrations – recently contributed by some of our younger members, coupled with topical photographs from some of our older members. It also contains words for more than sixty traditional songs, plus spoken verse, performable campfire stunts, yells, jokes and responses.

‘Songs, Verse, Yells and Stunts - Enhanced Edition’ ends with some helpful end-to-end advice for how to lessen the risks associated with building, hosting and maintaining a successful campfire and suggests some simple recipes that use the fading embers of your community campfire to backwoods cook on.
