🟦🟦CITIZENS ADVICE DROP IN SERVICE UPDATE🟦🟦

ℹ️ Citizens Advice Barnsley are no longer delivering drop in advice sessions for the South area (this includes Darfield).
This means there will be no sessions delivered by CITIZENS ADVICE BARNSLEY on Wednesdays between 9am - Midday at Darfield Community Centre from today.

🟠🟧From Wednesday 1st July, DIAL Barnsley will be delivering general advice & support sessions. Please see the poster below for all details🟧🟠

We are moving again! This time, into our new permanent home which is only next door!

Over the next few weeks we will be moving from Unit 18 into Unit 19, which has more space for our much needed stock, plus for upcoming future projects.

For now, please continue to direct any donations, enquiries, etc to Unit 18.

We will be visiting local libraries, hosting drop-in sessions to help you stay warm and well. We'll be at:
Hoyland Library – Tuesday 16th June, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Grimethorpe Library – Wednesday 17th June,10:00 AM to 12:00PM
Goldthorpe Library – Thursday 18th June, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Thurnscoe Library -- Thursday 18th June, 2:00PM to 4:00PM
We’ll be offering advice and handy tips on energy saving, information about our latest grants and schemes, including boiler replacement grants and answering all your energy queries.

When you donate money to our food bank, where does it go?

- It goes straight into a pot of hope, strength and comfort. Every single donation we get powers our mission: to ensure those in crisis across Barnsley have access to emergency food and wraparound support to signpost them on an upwards path.

Our referral agents work closely with us, providing the best 1 to 1 support. We make sure our parcels have enough food in them for at least 3 days. We provide toiletry packs and pet food when possible.

We are more than just a food bank...we are a lifeline for those that need it.
