CCAG patrollers are trained in delivering mentoring support, bringing a strong foundation of experience in youth engagement alongside valuable lived experience. This enables our team to genuinely relate to the young people we support, build trust, and provide meaningful, relatable guidance.

We work closely with young people to build skills, strengthen resilience, and empower them with the confidence to navigate life’s challenges. Our approach is rooted in understanding, connection and positive influence, meeting young people where they are and supporting their growth in a consistent and impactful way.

If this is something that interests you, or you know someone who would benefit from mentoring support, please get in touch to discuss our available packages.

📧 [email protected]

We look forward to connecting and continuing to support young people in our community.

This is exactly why we do what we do 🧡

A member of the community said it best: “It’s so good to see a group of men being positive role models for the youth.”

Moments like this remind us that safeguarding isn’t always about stopping danger… sometimes it’s about creating joy, trust and safety.

Being present. Being consistent. Showing our young people what real protection, respect and leadership looks like.

Every smile matters. Every child matters. Every moment counts.

Croydon’s future matters, especially for our young people and the communities we love. That’s why we’re sharing our support for Michael Pusey MBE, a lifelong youth worker, mentor and community champion who’s stepping up as the mayoral candidate for the Taking the initiative Party in the 2026 Croydon election. 🗳️🌍

Known to many as DJ CK Flash, Michael has spent over two decades supporting young people through mentoring, grassroots projects, and community programmes, turning neglected spaces into places of opportunity. He’s talked about the importance of better facilities, more creative spaces, mentorship, and healthier programmes for our youth, as well as investing in local enterprise and community pride. 💡🎤🚴‍♂️

The Taking the Initiative Party emphasises practical solutions, transparency, and real local voices, aiming to give people a meaningful say in the future of our borough. 🏙️🤝

We want better for Croydon, better opportunities, better support for our youth, and a community that works for everyone. 💜🇬🇧

We made it into MyLondon again — please take a moment to read the article.

The caption says it best: youth safety is a daily reality, not a viral moment.

We encourage everyone to familiarise yourselves with the organisations mentioned. If you have any concerns about the so called “red and blue wars”, please contact one of those organisations or reach out to us for factual, researched, on the ground information.

A school reported a 14% decline in attendance on Friday. Please don’t keep your children from their education out of fear. Every day, many young people already face real challenges like bullying and vulnerability. That’s why organisations like ours are out in the community working to ensure children are safe, seen, heard, and supported.
We want to emphasise this again clearly. This was not organised by groups of children across different schools in Croydon. It began as an AI generated post, shared by a small number of young people, and then widely spread by social media influencers and adults.

Most young people themselves thought it was silly or laughable and were not involved.

Let’s stay informed, stay calm and keep supporting our young people with facts, not fear.

Due to the traction this red and blue post has gained, it’s clear that so many people in our community do care about our young people.

I know most of you are sharing because you want to help, and that passion is exactly what we need. But caring goes beyond sharing online. The real impact comes from showing up and being part of a solution in the community.

There are so many ways to get involved: joining patrols, mentoring, offering opportunities, volunteering behind the scenes, donating, or even helping with admin and social media for grassroots organisations. Every action, big or small, makes a tangible difference.

If you’ve shared this post, your voice and your presence matter. It’s time to turn that passion into power and get involved.

Thank you to everyone who has shared information and videos about the situation in Croydon. We are aware, informed and actively responding. Please continue to be mindful about what you share. Awareness is important, but spreading fear helps no one.
Let’s also give our young people the credit they deserve. The vast majority are sensible, respectful and have no interest in being involved in anything like this. Many simply want to get home, stay safe and focus on what matters to them.
During our patrols next week, as always, we will be engaging with young people, encouraging positive choices and supporting them to stay safe and go home. But prevention goes far beyond patrols.
When young people have after school activities, hobbies and passions, they are far less likely to be aware of, never mind involved in, situations like this. As parents and communities, we must invest in our young people. Schools also play a vital role by providing after school clubs and opportunities that are accessible and affordable for families. It is all well and good people using their platforms to share these videos, but how about coming together to offer real opportunities that help steer young people away from being involved in things like this in the first place.
We meet incredible young people every day, footballers, singers, dancers, athletes, rappers and DJs, all focused on their talents, goals and futures. When young people are engaged, inspired and supported, they simply do not have the time or interest for negativity.
This is an important moment to recognise that boredom and lack of opportunity can play a role, and that positive investment in young people is one of the strongest protections our communities have.
Let’s stay calm, stay responsible with information, and keep supporting the young people who choose the right path every day.

Last week some of our team headed down to Croydon Voluntary Action in West Croydon, where we were invited by Anthony King to take part in an inspiring debate session commissioned by Charles Gordon, giving young people the opportunity to learn about politics, critical thinking and the art of debate.

The topic? For or against live facial recognition cameras in Croydon.

It was incredible to watch the young people come together, working in groups, putting their views to paper, challenging each other respectfully, and then stepping forward to debate their findings with confidence. With over 20 young people in the room, that’s 20 young people engaged, supported, and positively invested in.
These photos capture the energy, the teamwork, and our debate winner, but more importantly they capture what happens when young people are given meaningful opportunities. They don’t want to be outside with nothing to do, they want to be involved, challenged, and part of something positive. And when those opportunities are there, they show up and thrive.

A truly positive experience and we’re excited to be more involved in this project going forward.

If you know a young person who would be interested in taking part, or you’d like to find out more, send us a DM 📩
