Croydon Youth Zone, named by young people as 'Legacy', will is a purpose-built facility for the borough's young people aged 8 - 19.

and up to 25 for those with a disability. Offering over 20 activities every night for just 50p per visit!

We would like to let you know that Legacy Youth Zone will be closed from Monday 31 August to Sunday 6 September while our team takes part in annual staff training across the charity.

This important week helps us continue providing the best possible experience for all our young people and families.
Please note that our sessions will resume on Tuesday, 8th September 2026.

While the Youth Zone is closed, we'd love for you to join us on Saturday, 5 September as we celebrate seven amazing years of Legacy Youth Zone with our community.
We've planned a fun-filled day for the whole family, featuring:

✨ Bouncy castle
🎨 Face painting
🧪 Slime-making activities
🎯 Games and challenges
🥁 African drumming workshops
🎁 And plenty more surprises!

Whether you're a long-standing member or visiting for the first time, it's a fantastic opportunity to come together, celebrate our community, and enjoy a day packed with fun and laughter.

⛳️ More than just a great day of golf.

While young people pay only 50p to visit Legacy Youth Zone, it actually costs £35 per visit to provide the safe spaces, trusted relationships, support and opportunities that can change lives. That's a funding gap of £34.50 every time a young person comes through our doors.

Thanks to everyone who joined and supported our Charity Golf Day. Your generosity is helping ensure young people have somewhere safe to be, someone to talk to, and the chance to discover their potential.

🍓🥤 We were delighted to officially launch our Lidl Foodies Summer Club at Legacy Youth Zone last week!

Our young people rolled up their sleeves alongside colleagues from Lidl GB to create delicious, healthy recipes and nutritious smoothies, while learning practical cooking skills they can take home and use every day. Through hands-on activities, they explored healthy eating, built confidence in the kitchen and discovered how to prepare affordable, nutritious meals.

As part of OnSide's summer partnership with Lidl, around 1,000 young people across five Youth Zones will have the opportunity to experience the joy of cooking and develop lifelong healthy habits.

A huge thank you to the fantastic team at Lidl GB for donating ingredients, sharing their expertise and helping to inspire the next generation of home cooks. Together, we're making healthy eating fun, accessible and practical for young people this summer.

A huge thank you to Shirley Lodge for visiting our Holiday Club today and for their incredible generosity! 💚

Their amazing donation of £4,250 will help fund 1,416 hot meals for children and young people throughout the summer holidays, making a real difference to families in our community.
We are so grateful for their support and commitment to helping ensure that no child goes without a nutritious meal this summer.
