Operating from 5 carers houses for the previous 10 years, we were established as a registered charity in January 1995 to provide advice and counselling to carers, including benefits and the welfare system. The original objectives were as now to provide information and emotional support to carers

The charity works closely with Carers UK, Princess Royal Trust and other carers centers. Contact detai

ls for which can be found on our 'Useful Links' page. All volunteer training is conducted to accredited and approved standards at the National Carer Organisation centers. In April 2000, the charity took a lease on a building at Park Place in Croydon and now occupies over 4000 square feet of space in which to operate the Croydon Carers Center. This includes a retail unit, which is run as a charity shop.
