A 10-minute presentation helps everyone in our understand how they may use your services, but more importantly how they will refer you to their contacts. We recently heard from;

Avinash Sachdev from Gentle Dental Care Group who spoke about his popular services, such as Invisalign and dental implants, and how he helps people who are lacking in confidence, due to their poor dentistry, become confident again and smile properly, sometimes for the first time in years. He also spoke about where his practices are based and how he has a special offer for BNI members to take advantage of.

Mike Taylor from @1840 Lawn Care spoke about his many years studying lawncare and his degree in turfgrass science. He often gets asked ‘what’s the difference between you and a gardener’, the years of studying and the degree explains that! He also spoke about the services he offers and how he knows just the right combination of lawncare treatments to get the perfect green striped lawn everyone desires.

Paul Johnston from Lifts spoke about the packages and services that they offer to clients, to suit budgets and requirements, such as maintenance, calls outs to breakdowns, modernisation of lift interiors and controls. He showed us some very fancy pictures, including a snakeskin lift interior. If your lift is noisy, vibrating or shuddering call Paul, maybe just some light lubrication is required.

We enjoyed another great visitor's day this week and were joined by our esteemed leader and networking guru Greg Davies-Polaine.

Greg spoke about AI, having a business edge and how BNI can help with that. He also had some interesting facts about carrots (don’t ask) and some stats from AI about;

Out of 100 new businesses started, how many are still around in their 10th year of trading?

1st Year = 93
2nd Year = 75
5th Year = 46
10th Year = only 1 in 10 reach this milestone.

We’re lucky enough to have quite a few businesses at our networking group who have made it to 10 years, with more on their way, and many of those credit their BNI journey with helping them achieve that wonderful milestone.
