Who’s excited for the show?
Here’s your itinerary for Sunday 30th August 2026 too green opposite pub
Don’t worry about the weather, we’ve got a huge marquee for our ho-down rooting tooting country show. (Also I hear Mandy’s bargains have waterproof cowboy hats for a quid!)
11am Bring your produce, baking and crafts, and kids competitions to main marquee for registration (50p per item) no cheating 😂😂😂 we can spot an Aldi carrot a mile off, the barcode gives it away
11am Biking Vikings will be there with axe throwing and drumming for the kids (not at the same time I hope 😂 (subject to weather) raising funds for Brain Tumour research
11-1 Mystic Gel will be predicting all things wonderful with her tarot card readings, fundraising for our Voices in Bloom group Back after a short break from 2-4pm
12-3 Kids game are Back with Laura and Beth it was a great hit last year and we have even more activities this year.
Ipm marquee will close for judging
1pm the amazing beautiful Sophie Dempsey will entertain us
2pm Marquee opens for viewing, have you got the best leek? Tastiest pie? Most creative hand made item? Come and find out! (Please leave all entries in the marquee until 3.45, then if you wish to keep them you can remove them, not before otherwise the community won’t see what amazing things this village is capable of) All items will be auctioned at 4 unless collected prior to this time.
3pm Katanya Ruddick is here with her drama school giving us some country numbers. Maybe we will see some line dancing from the audience?
4pm Our Wayne will be the auctioneer, bring plenty of cash folks. All monies go back into show fund for 2027 always a laugh with bargains galore to be had.
5pm band Foot Tappers with songs through the decades that everyone will love, let’s party!

Housekeeping notes
Portable toilets on green and in pub
Please be careful when crossing the road, there is a bar on the green (cash only) so no need to risk it.
Please watch your kids, there are unfortunately speeding cars that will not slow down.
Please park responsibly in our village, neighbours have feelings too 🤪 noise levels should subside after 7pm when marquee will be closed. Thanks your patience green dwellers!
Dispose of all litter responsibly please in bins provided or take it home if you can.
Finally please respect our hard working team of volunteers who work all year to put this show on for the village to enjoy.
