We hosted Holt BC this afternoon for the first leg of the John Cooke Memorial Trophy.
The weather was kind to us and it was a most enjoyable and friendly match. The winner on the day was the Asthma and Lung Charity chosen by Holt.
Many thanks to the fabulous catering team at WRBC.
We look forward to the return leg at Holt in August.

Last Sunday WRBC visited our friends at Holt BC for the second leg of our charity friendly in memory of our former captain John Cooke.
A wonderful day for all involved. The score irrelevant (OK we lost!), and a magnificent £1100 raised for our chosen charity MND.

Brilliant fund raising day for MND on Sunday, when we remembered our dear friend and former captain John Cooke. We hosted Holt BC for this very special friendly. A wonderful occasion which raised well over £500 for this great cause and was enjoyed by over 50 bowlers and guests.
We look forward to the return leg at Holt BC in August.
