A big thank you to Paul, Pat, and to their families, for undertaking the cooking and delivery of meals on Christmas Day to a number of households in and around Cromer.

We've once again had a very successful year supporting families in our community with everything from the provision of beds, household essentials, transport to hundreds of medical appointments, and of course the, the Children's Christmas Party.

We look forward to continuing this work in our community in 2026.

Here at Merchants' Place we are collecting or or Community Christmas Parcels for local families and people who may be alone this festive season. Donations to help fill these : Sweets, chocolates, dates, figs ,tea, coffee and luxury biscuits, would be gratefully received. Please drop them off at Merchants' Place Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Our annual Cromer Cares Children's Christmas Party will be held on 21st December at the Parish Hall between 2-5pm.

As before, this event is free, but booking is essential.

There will be music, food, and Santa!

Beds for children:

We have some remaining funding for beds and bedding for children in Cromer and the surrounding villages.

You may be aware that it is thought there are around 1 million children who do not have a proper bed or sleep in a broken bed nationally, and this funding is to address some of those issues locally.

We have been working with schools and other statutory services for some time to distribute this funding, but if your family or child needs this support please get in contact with us.
