We regularly have James Support Group giving mental health talks at Conanvet for all the staff, the support and advice is invaluable.

❤️‍🩹 MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH! ❤️‍🩹

It is well documented and recognised that veterinary professionals are facing a severe mental health crisis, with veterinary professionals being 3 - 4 times more likely to die by su***de, than the general public. Unfortunately we all know someone.

At Conanvet we are lucky to have regular staff mental health support meetings with representatives from organisations such as James Support Group & Green Ribbons.
We also have several staff members trained as Mental Health First Aiders and a Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion team.
