As things begin to get dark earlier here in Cromarty, we wanted to give you an update to Hugh Miller’s Birthplace’s opening hours. 🗓️

Our LAST public open day for the year will be NEXT WEEKEND on Sunday 9th November - after that we will reopen to the public in Spring 2026. The museum can be opened by appointment for prebooked groups and school visits. If you and your group would like to visit us over this winter please contact us via email at [email protected] and we can look at arranging your bespoke experience. 🎟️

However, that’s not to say things will be dead at Hugh Miller’s - far from it! We have lots of exciting things taking place throughout the winter: from adult craft workshops, to special winter festivals, to a very exciting brand-new science experience for the museum that we cannot wait to share more information about next week! 👀

Again - Hugh Miller’s Birthplace closes to the public next weekend on Sunday 9th November, and we will see you again next Spring! 👋
