Remake Scotland Welcome to Remake! We are a community charity based in Crieff, dedicated to helping people live more sustainably by promoting creative reuse & repair.

Pop into our Reuse Hub for second-hand treasures or explore our community Tool Library and Repair Hub. Remake is a community reuse charity run by volunteers and staff based in Crieff. Our purpose is to promote the reuse of materials for the benefit of our community. Remake is a local solution to a global problem. We currently run a number of projects including a secondhand store, a young adult emp

loyability programme, a tool library and a volunteer programme. We have the best secondhand shop, filled with everything from crafting & fabric to DIY & tools to furniture & homewares. You can find an array of incredible items all saved from landfill and checked to Revolve standards. Remake was founded in 2011, became a registered charity in 2013 and is based at our Reuse Hub at the Crieff Visitor Centre in Perthshire.

Meet some of the curators of the Gallery Remake 😍

Anna, Jill, Cathy and Julia (if she's cajoled into it) do an amazing job of processing, pricing and displaying the beautiful artworks that come through our doors to give them the best chance of finding a new home. 🥰

Pop down, and maybe you, too, will fall in love with some of the art or even just the frames. They all are such unique pieces with beautiful history 💚

Supporting young creativity! 😍

Earlier this month, Reverb's Helen and team came down to Remake for some audio sampling for a larger project. Reverb Studio's new dates are now live on the Strathearn Arts website, so be sure to check it out! 😁🎨

Reverb Studio is an excellent project supported by Strathearn Arts that offers free, youth-led creative sessions to people aged 12-17 in Strathearn, which are facilitated by local artist Helen McRorie. 💚

We're so grateful to have the support of SSE's Community Investment Fund. Our extended opening hours that allow us to host partner projects such as Reverb is thanks to SSE's programme, which awarded £24.9 million to communities last year. Together we're helping create lasting positive change and stronger, more resilient communities. 😁

We have over 60 incredible volunteers that help run projects like our Reuse Hub, Tool Library and Repair Hub. They contribute over 1'000 hours each year to helping us share reuse & repair resources 💚

Do you have or know someone who has a spare container for our handsome Tool Library Team?
John and George love running this project, offering over 400 items up for lending to our community. And the membership is free!! 🥳

But they do need space to store and maintain all this equipment - a new container would really really help with this 🙏

We have loads of new items in our shop this week, including comfy chairs, beautiful tables, luxurious lights as well as incredible fabrics (the patchwork collection is still out!), floral artworks and the cutest woven fire log basket 🥹💚
