Crewkerne Sunday Street Market – Sunday 6 September

The Day After Crewkerne's Charter Fair!

Get ready for a great day out in Crewkerne! The Rotary Club of Crewkerne District’s Sunday Street Market takes place on Sunday 6 September, from 10am to 2pm, bringing the town centre to life with a fantastic mix of local stalls, goodies and surprises.

Come along and browse local food and drink, handmade crafts, gifts, treats and plenty more – there’s sure to be something to catch your eye. And who knows? We may even have a couple of surprises!

Stallholders – why not join us? Stalls start from just £30, so it’s a great opportunity to showcase your products to local shoppers.

Come along, support local and enjoy the atmosphere!

With thanks to our Rotary volunteers who gave up their day yesterday putting the road signs up, they are all in place promoting the Fair and Sunday Street Market.

All seven Road Sign Sponsors have three signs each, so there are 21 signs to look out for this year. If you want to give the children something to do, why not see if you can find them all? They are all prominently displayed on various routes into Crewkerne. No prizes but should keep them entertained for hours. Care on the roads please!

Thanks to all the local businesses who welcomed me so warmly this morning as I delivered the notices about the Fair weekend which starts one month from tomorrow on 4th September.
So pleased that not a single person I met today had a bad word to say about the Fair which of course is a centuries-old tradition for the town and is much enjoyed by residents and visitors alike. Some cannot believe that the year has turned full circle once again but that’s life!

There is still a chance to become a Fair sponsor for £50 and you can reserve a pitch at the Sunday Street Market the day after the Fair from as little as £30. If either opportunity is of interest, please do get in touch.
