What an amazing night! No hold ups, constant support from the crowd and to top it off, for the second consecutive year…

🏆 1ST PLACE 🏆

We are forever proud of these boys and girls 🫶🏻

Thank you to Chard Carnival for having us for another year and running such a successful carnival 🔥

And finally, thank you to Jayden Tate for walking the whole route with us and taking action shots of our team. We are looking forward to seeing the photos 😍

Despite being a smaller team tonight, we will still be bringing the same amount of fire 🔥

Unfortunately tonight didn’t go as planned due to a gas leak near the town and sadly the carnival had to be cancelled 😢

Our hearts go out to Ilminster Carnival as this isn’t just a one day event, it’s months of fundraising and preparation that goes on behind the scenes all by volunteers to put on this free show. Even though tonight’s events couldn’t of been prevented, we would like to thank all of Ilminster Carnival committee for all their hard work they’ve put in and keeping us all safe ✨🫶🏻

We are very grateful that we were able to cross the start line as not everyone did and entertain the crowds around us, even if it was short and sweet. The troupe were on fire although we only were able to do our carnival routine twice but the dancing didn’t stop there, as we all had a boogie to pass the time and to keep everyone’s spirits up 🔥

To all our Committee and helpers tonight… We can’t thank you enough for all your hard work and keeping every member safe. Your organisation and communication skills were spot on tonight! 🫡🫶🏻

Finally a massive thank you to Soleus Podiatry for allowing us to use your premises to get everyone changed after the carnival 🩵

We hope everyone got home safely and here’s to our next carnival…

❤️🧡💛 Troupes supporting troupes 💛🧡❤️

What a lovely atmosphere we had around us at Mere Carnival last weekend! 🥰

It was great to see friends from different troupes that we haven’t seen throughout the year, catching up, cheering each other on and sharing those little moments that make the carnival season so special. 🫶🏻

We wish we could have had a troupe photo with all the troupes at the carnival but as everyone knows, time flies by… although the toilet queues certainly don’t! 😂

Luckily, we managed to get a Drum Major photo with the majority of the troupes, and it was so lovely to see everyone coming together, supporting, encouraging and celebrating one another. That’s what the carnival family is all about! ❤️

(Sorry to Ilchester Gems & Ilminster Diamonds that we didn’t manage to get your drums included in the photo 😢 unfortunately with all the craziness in carnival it wasn’t possible due to the limited time. Please know you were very much part of the love & support ✨💎)

To all our amazing majorette friends performing on the Wessex circuit over the coming weeks, we wish you all the very best of luck! Go out there, enjoy every moment, support each other and have an amazing 2026 carnival season!
❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜🩷
