Autumn/winter planters anyone? You can still introduce colour into your garden even during these colder months. Winter pansies & violas, cyclamen, narcissus, hyacinths, ornamental cabbage, hellebores and ferns are all amazing plants that will bring colour to your garden as we head into winter. Now is also a great time to plant your bulbs and I’ve been busy with clients making lots of ‘bulb lasagnes’ recently! A little garden makeover for one of our clients. This lady’s pots were looking a bit sad and full of weeds, so we cleaned them up and planted some lovely salvias and lavenders (both great for bees!). Her flowerbed was also being choked by herb robert and ivy, so we cleared it out to make room for her huge lavender bush to breathe again. Swipe for before photos ➡️➡️➡️

Some pretty little alpine plants for one of our clients! This lady was really struggling with watering her plants, so we decided to get her some lovely ‘white star’ saxifraga flowers. These flowers are super hardy, having evolved to suit harsh alpine conditions. They are drought resistant so don’t need much watering and the rocks around the base also help with water retention. They’re also super pretty! The client was very happy with her new flower planters😍

A rainbow of flowers ready to head off to our lovely client’s gardens! Here we have a selection of geums, lavenders, saxifragas, scabious and aquilegias. All of these flowers are perennials and amazing for insects! I just love the beautiful colours together. If I were a bee then I think I’d be very happy with this wonderful selection! 🌼
