📢✊ New rights. More access. Stronger unions.

From 30 October, trade unions will have new rights to seek weekly access to workplaces, making it easier to organise, recruit and represent workers.

These changes could be a major step forward in building workplace power, particularly in outsourced services, social care and schools.

But the work doesn't stop here. UNISON will keep fighting to ensure all workers have access to a union in their workplace.

UNISON general secretary Andrea Egan explains why these new rights are a huge organising opportunity and how we can make the most of them.
