Good Evening All,

This September, Sensei Ross and his good friend Lewis Wood are taking on a challenge to run 50km throughout the month to raise money for SANDS. They are doing this in support of their close friend and colleague, Tam, and her wife, after the heartbreaking loss of their beautiful daughter, Meila.

SANDS provides vital support for families going through unimaginable loss, and they would love your help to support this cause. Any donation, big or small, will mean so much. 💜

Shoten Kyodo Martial Arts Self Defence seminars.

Saturday 23rd August. 12.00-2.00 ages 5-13

Sunday 24th august 12.00-3.00 ages 14+

FREE for existing club members. £5.00 per person for non members.

These sessions will cover practical Self Defence scenarios which will help you in real life situations.

You do not need any martial arts experience to attend these sessions.

Sessions will be held at the clubs new dojo - Hut 15, Tigate huts, Tigate park, Crawley.

Crazy to think that only a year ago, we viewed and offered on what would become our first ever full time Shoten Kyodo Dojo. After taking the opportunity to redesign our old school club badge, we got to planning what our dream facility would look like.

2024 flew by and before we knew it we were in with a big renovation job ahead! After 6 weeks of hard work we had our dream realised, allowing us to sit back and reflect today on how much a year has enhanced our club. We are bigger and better than ever, growing every day as students and as the family club we have always been proud to lead.

A huge shoutout to the Prestige Security team who took part in a one-day handcuffing and restraint training course led by our very own Instructor and Managing Director, Chris.

Everyone gave it 100% and did incredibly well throughout the day, showcasing the professionalism, focus and teamwork that define Prestige!

A big thank you to Shoten Kyodo Martial Arts for kindly allowing us to use your fantastic dojo space — a perfect environment for training and development.

Delayed post but well done to all of our students who graded in our end of June grading weekend! The heat certainly added another level of difficulty but all smashed it and fully deserved their next grades.

We have opted for smaller, more regular gradings going forward to make better use of our training facilities. We feel this gives us a better chance to assess our students and give them more structured feedback to take into their future training.
