🎉 A Very Special Birthday Celebration for Nigel! 🎉

Back in May, Nigel sadly experienced a fall which led to a hospital stay due to further complications. He's now been in hospital for six months, and during that time he has greatly missed his friends, home comforts, and the things he enjoys most.

One thing Nigel was particularly worried about was spending his birthday in hospital. So today, we decided to bring the party to him! 🎂🎈

With the help of his friends, we transformed the hospital into a birthday party space and surprised him with a celebration full of laughter, cake, and, of course, plenty of ABBA music playing throughout the day! 🎶💃

It was wonderful to see Nigel surrounded by friends, sharing memories and enjoying his special day. Seeing the smiles on his face reminded us all how important friendship, community, and those little moments of joy can be.

Nigel said "I was very surprised and really enjoyed my afternoon with everybody."

Happy Birthday, Nigel! 🎉🎂🎁 We can't wait to see you back where you belong. ❤️

🌟 Exploring Somewhere New with Ken 🌟

Last Thursday, Ken fancied a change of scenery, so we took a trip to the beautiful Horley Memorial Gardens. 🌳🍂

We enjoyed a leisurely walk around the gardens and park, taking in the peaceful surroundings before heading to the café for a well-earned coffee and cake. ☕🍰

Ken thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and told us, "I loved getting out to see somewhere new." 😊

Matthew recently joined a local cricket club with support from Circles Network, and what a fantastic start it has been!

He thoroughly enjoyed his first session and is already looking forward to going back. Playing cricket is something Matthew has wanted to do for a long time, but finding the right opportunity had been a challenge. We're delighted that he has finally found a club where he can get involved and enjoy the sport he loves.

Matthew played really well during his first session and received a warm welcome from everyone at the club. It was wonderful to see him feeling included, building confidence, and having fun as part of the team.

Well done, Matthew! We can't wait to hear how your cricket journey continues. 🏏👏😊

On Saturday, Gary Burnell True Heating Solutions Ltd took on the incredible challenge of the 15km Tough Mudder, battling mud, obstacles, and miles to support Circles Network's.

💪🏽🏃‍♂️ Support Gary True Heating Solutions Ltd as He Takes on Tough Mudder for Men Matter! 🏃‍♂️💪🏽

On Saturday 19th September 2026, our amazing supporter Gary will be taking on the gruelling 15km Tough Mudder obstacle course to raise funds for Circles Network's.

At Circles Network, we are dedicated to supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals, including people with neurodiversity and learning disabilities, to live fulfilling, inclusive, and connected lives. Through our person-centred approach, we help people experiencing social exclusion, long-term illness, disability, or other disadvantages to become active members of their communities.

The funds raised by Gary will help towards launching Men Matter, a new project designed to provide practical support for disabled and autistic men who are experiencing social isolation but do not meet the threshold for adult social care support. Too often, these individuals are left without the support they need, and Men Matter aims to bridge that gap by creating opportunities for connection, friendship, wellbeing, and community participation.

🌟 A huge well done to Anthony! 🌟

Every week, Hayley attends the BNI A380 networking group, but last week she brought along a very special guest.

Anthony is an individual we support at Circles Network, and he did an amazing job representing himself, Circles Network and sharing his story. He spoke openly about some of the challenges he faces and explained how Circles Network supports him, helping the other members gain a better understanding of the work we do.

Standing in front of a room full of people can be daunting, but Anthony delivered an excellent speech with confidence, honesty, and courage. We are incredibly proud of him for stepping outside of his comfort zone and making such a positive impression on everyone in the room.

Anthony said "I really enjoyed it, it was an amazing experience and I met such nice people"
The BNI A380 members said they were very impressed and would welcome him back to any of the meetings.

🌳🚶 Kevin spent Monday afternoon enjoying a walk along the Tilgate Park Trail, searching for hidden letter clues along the way. He had a fantastic time exploring the trail and was especially excited to spot the Big Wheel during his visit. A great afternoon filled with fresh air, adventure, and fun! 😊🎡

Yesterday, Anthony had a busy day out at Scaynes Hill Garden Centre and the Bluebell Railway. Plenty of fresh air, beautiful surroundings, and time spent enjoying the sunshine. A wonderful day all around! ☀️💚
