After the Connect Café / Work experience group voted on what they wanted to spend the money on that they have amazingly earned from the connect cafe, jewellery making and selling cakes, they decided on a projector and a fire stick. 😁📽️📱🖥️

While we were out shopping we also purchased coffee pods for our new coffee machine for some barista style coffees and bread boards for when we start serving our hot snacks like toast, crumpets and Teacakes. 🍞 🥯 🧈 🫓 ☕️ 🍽️

Well done guys ( Dale, Mark, Hayley, Marcus and Fraser) you have all worked so hard to achieve the opportunity to purchase these nice things to use for your sessions.🤩 🤩 😎

🎶🎺 What an incredible afternoon at SMILE! 🎺🎶

We had a real treat when Daniel from Sussex Music Workshops joined us for a fun-filled afternoon of music, singing, and making memories together!

The room was filled with smiles, laughter, and the wonderful sound of live music as everyone got involved in playing instruments, singing along, and experiencing the joy that music brings. Daniel's energy, enthusiasm, and talent were infectious, creating a fantastic atmosphere that had everyone engaged from start to finish.

What made the session so special was the way Daniel connected with each and every person. He took the time to interact with everyone individually, ensuring nobody was left out and that everyone had the opportunity to participate in their own way. It was wonderful to see so many people expressing themselves, building confidence, and sharing such positive experiences through music.

A huge thank you to Daniel for bringing so much happiness, inclusivity, and fun to SMILE.

🌟 Brilliant Becky! 🌟

Becky has been having an absolutely fantastic few weeks, keeping busy, having fun, and trying lots of different activities! 😊

From getting stuck into wonderfully messy sensory play to helping with the washing up and showing off her independent living skills, Becky has embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm. 🧼🎨

She also joined the Dimensions 50th Birthday Zoom celebration, enjoying being part of such a special occasion and helping celebrate this incredible milestone. 🎉💻

One of Becky's favourite highlights was spending the morning with Daniel the Music Man. She loved joining in with the music and was especially excited when Daniel played the trumpet! 🎺🎶 Her smile said it all, and it was lovely to see how much enjoyment the session brought her.

In the kitchen, Becky has been busy cooking up a storm and even got creative by making her very own chef's hat before getting to work on her culinary creations! 👩‍🍳🍽️

It's been wonderful to see Becky enjoying new experiences, developing new skills, and making lots of happy memories along the way. We are so proud of her positivity, enthusiasm, and willingness to get involved in everything she does. Keep shining, Becky! 💜👏
