Disability Pride in the Memorial Gardens, Crawley on the 11th of July between 10:00am and 3:00pm.

We will be attending with a stall on the day. There will be other providers there, music and games so should be a really fun day. Could you please share this.

Please do come along if you can!

There is a theme of “Adventurers” on the day, it isn’t mandatory but it is good fun!

Anyone who comes along and would like to dress up, there will be a prize for the best dressed Adventurer!!!!

A workshop run by the “One World Orchestra” and based in the Broadfield Community Centre. We got to play drums, acoustic guitars, electric guitars, bass guitars and also electronic keyboards and we sang and not to forget, we got to dance as well!

Happy Birthday Andrea 🎂

Andrea had the best birthday surprise thanks to her wonderful link worker, Mon. She received a personalised birthday message from her absolute favourite — Boy George — and she was over the moon.

We played it on the big projector and watching her face light up was pure magic.

A huge thank you to the incredible Paul Sutton at BoyGeorgeTribute.co.uk. Boy Gorgeous for his kindness and generosity. He truly went above and beyond to make Andrea’s day unforgettable.

We got the bus to tilgate this morning in Travel Training and had a lovely walk around the lake in the sunshine where we got to discover nature, including flowers and birds.
We also got to use the outdoor gym equipment for some healthy exercise.
Then we walked to K2 and got the bus back to the Charis Centre.

We visited the County Oak Retail Park today to look around the shops, to do this we planned and then travelled by bus to the bus station and than jumped onto another bus to take us there.
After looking round we jumped on the return bus outside KwikFit on the return leg of our day.

On the morning of 14th April, the travel training group decided to get the bus to Gatwick Airport.
We got the number 3 bus outside the apple tree, which took us all the way to the airport.
The group had a fun morning which included seeing and posing for photos on an old London Routemaster bus as well as looking at the digital notice board with the times of the flights to varied countries and we even travelled between the North and South terminals on the shuttle train between them, before heading back to the Charis Centre.

On a work experience day while we didn't have any work experience, we decided to brainstorm and plan what we were going to make for our upcoming events. After our brainstorming session we went out to hobby craft to look for supplies and other craft ideas, looking at prices as well as different materials for different projects over at Hobbycraft on the County Oak shopping park.
