TS Swiftsure NTC T.S. Swiftsure is an uniformed for ages 8 to 16 years old
Deck night is on at the Village Hall, UK 6:30pm - 8:00pm

Swiftsure is a uniformed youth group that was founded in 1974. We welcome children from ages 8 to 16 years old. Swiftsure provide a wide range of activities and the cadets learn basic seamanship skills and team building skills. As a ship, we take part in regional and national events that include the Regional Band Competition, the Regional Athletics and the National Shedfield camp. Our Deck Nights

are on Tuesdays between 6:30pm - 8:00pm located at Copthorne Village Hall, Copthorne Bank, Copthorne, RH10 3RE.

Swiftsure's marching band has been busy, busy, busy!!

Another Sunday practice and we absolutely smashed the last few tunes that we have been preparing for N.T.C. Band Competition. Well done to everyone for all your effort!

A big thank you to Maindenbower Infant School for being the lovely venue to do our weekend practices.

What a fantastic day at the Copthorne Carnival! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support T.S. Swiftsure. We had an amazing time taking part in the parade, meeting members of the community at our recruitment stall, running our toy and bottle tombolas, and keeping everyone fed with burgers and hot dogs throughout the evening! 🌭🍔

None of this would have been possible without the incredible effort of our cadets, officers, volunteers, and supporters. Your hard work, enthusiasm, and dedication made the day a great success. Thank you all! 👏

If you didn't get a chance to speak to us at the carnival, we'd love to meet you on our Open Day this Tuesday at Copthorne Village Hall. Whether you're interested in joining as a cadet or volunteering, come along and find out what TS Swiftsure is all about. We hope to see you there!

82nd Founder's Day!

Yesterday, the Nautical Training Corps celebrated its 82nd Founder's Day at Fort Purbrook, Portsmouth.

For many of our cadets, it was their first Founder's Day experience. The day began with a service attended by units from across the Corps, during which T.S. Swiftsure and T.S. Implacable gave their first joint performance, playing 'Abide With Me' together. The celebrations then continued with a BBQ, stalls, and a variety of activities including football, climbing, an assault course, and line dancing.

With the weather on our side, it was a fantastic day enjoyed by cadets, volunteers, and staff alike. A huge thank you to everyone who helped organise and run the event, making it such a memorable occasion.

We look forward to celebrating again next year!!
