There are still quite a few free infant feeding support groups running across the summer. Always aim to turn up as closest to start time as possible so you can ensure you get the help and support you need within the time.

If you are aware of any others or any across Sussex please share them below for everyone to see and benefit from.

For World Breastfeeding Week 2026 we would love to hear your voice and invite you to complete our infant feeding survey.

Whether you breastfed, formula fed, combination fed or expressed, we want to hear about your experience of local maternity and neonatal services.
Tell us:
• What went well?
• Did you receive the support you needed?
• Were you signposted to helpful services?
• Did you attend any antenatal classes?
Your feedback helps us work with SASH Maternity to improve care for women, birthing people, babies and families.

🔗 Please complete our short survey using the link in our bio. Thank you for helping us make a difference.

🌍🤱 World Breastfeeding Week 🤱🌍

We know from our own experiences and those of you we speak to regularly, that feeding your baby is always a highly emotive subject. We want to acknowledge the differing feeding journeys women and their partners go through full of love and determination but also sometimes alongside tears, tough decisions, pain and the need to seek support.

this year is shining a particular global spotlight on nutrition, food security, and poverty reduction with the theme ‘Breastfeeding for a Sustainable Start in Life: Strengthen What Works.’

At SaSH MNVP we are so passionate about ensuring all women get the feeding support they need and get all the information for them to make the best choices for them and their families and to be able to breastfeed for as long as they wish. We will be sharing the support available to you throughout the week in our stories so make sure to get screenshotting if you are pregnant or recently had a baby.

We always want to listen to you—women, birthing people, partners and families—so we can better understand what support looks like and where services need to do better. Your feedback helps shape real change in how care is delivered across maternity and neonatal services. You can find our infant feeding survey in our bio link.

After over 3 incredible years ( and more as a volunteer) of having Laura as the Sussex Co-Lead for Surrey and Sussex Healthcare Maternity & Neonatal Voices Partnership, it’s time to say goodbye💜

Laura has been such a passionate advocate for women and birthing people across Sussex, always making sure their voices were heard and reflected in meaningful change. Her dedication, compassion, and determination have made a lasting impact. Anyone who has had the privilege of working alongside her sees her as a totally inspiring colleague, who has made such an impact locally, regionally and nationally, so thank you so much!

The impact of Laura’s hard work, support, and care will continue for a long time across so many areas and we will miss her so much!✨
