🔥 **What an incredible day at the 4th Annual Ifield Lodge BBQ!** 🔥

A massive **THANK YOU** to our Worshipful Master and his Lady. Damian and Vic for once again opening up their home and hosting another fantastic Ifield Lodge BBQ. Year after year you both go above and beyond, and this year was no exception. From the moment everyone arrived until the last person left, everything was perfect.

The weather was kind to us, the BBQ was outstanding, there was plenty of food and drink, and most importantly, it was another opportunity for members, families and friends to spend quality time together away from the Lodge. Days like this remind us that Freemasonry is about much more than meetings and ceremonies – it's about friendship, family, laughter and creating lasting memories.

This year we introduced a charity raffle, and the support from everyone was nothing short of incredible. The generosity shown throughout the afternoon was a true reflection of the kindness and camaraderie that exists within Ifield Lodge.

Damian and Vic then made an amazing gesture by donating all of the BBQ contributions back into the raffle fund, adding to the total raised and demonstrating once again their incredible generosity and commitment to supporting good causes.

Thanks to everyone's kindness and support, we raised an incredible **£1,100** in just one afternoon! 👏👏👏 Every person who bought raffle tickets, donated prizes, helped organise the day, or simply came along played a part in making this such a tremendous success.

Events like this don't happen without a huge amount of planning and hard work behind the scenes. Damian and Vic, thank you both for everything you do for Ifield Lodge. Your hospitality, generosity and friendship are truly appreciated by everyone, and you should be incredibly proud of what you've created over the past four years.

A big thank you also goes to everyone who attended, brought family and friends, donated raffle prizes, and helped make the day such an enjoyable and memorable occasion. It was wonderful to see so many people together enjoying each other's company in such a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Here's to another fantastic year of friendship, fellowship and laughter—and we're already looking forward to the **5th Annual Ifield Lodge BBQ** next year! 🍔🍻☀️

On Thursday 5th February 2026, the Worshipful Master had the great pleasure of initiating a long-standing and trusted friend into Ifield Lodge No. 7931. The ceremony was conducted with confidence, dignity, and sincerity, and it was a genuine joy for all present to witness such a well-delivered and meaningful initiation.

The Worshipful Master performed the ceremony to an exceptionally high standard, demonstrating both his commitment to the Craft and his care for the Candidate. The Officers of the Lodge also played a vital role throughout the evening, each contributing excellent ritual work that reflected the many hours of preparation and dedication undertaken beforehand. The teamwork and unity displayed by the Lodge ensured that the ceremony flowed seamlessly and created a truly memorable experience, particularly for the Candidate, for whom the evening marked the beginning of his Masonic journey.

The atmosphere within the Lodge was one of warmth, support, and shared pride, and it was clear that the occasion held special significance for all involved. This sense of fellowship continued into the Festive Board, where the evening was rounded off in fine style. The room was filled with laughter, good-natured banter, and a strong sense of camaraderie, allowing Brethren to relax and celebrate the success of the evening together.

Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding occasion—one that reflected great credit on the Worshipful Master, the Officers, and all the Brethren of Ifield Lodge No. 7931, and one that will no doubt be remembered fondly by the Candidate for many years to come.

In Mid January, members of the Ifield Lodge (7931) Visiting Team were delighted to visit Knights of the Road Lodge (3673) at the Sussex Masonic Centre, Brighton, for what proved to be a truly enjoyable and memorable evening.

Pictured at the centre is Worshipful Master Stephen Kingcome, who delivered an outstanding Third-Degree ceremony. Conducted with confidence, clarity, and a genuine sense of occasion, the ceremony was both impressive and inspiring for all those present.
Surrounding him are members of Ifield Lodge, proud to witness such a well-executed ceremony. The warmth of the welcome extended throughout the evening and continued into an excellent festive board, where the hospitality of Knights of the Road Lodge was second to none.

The lively conversation, shared laughter, and fraternal camaraderie that followed reinforced the strong bonds that unite our lodges and reminded us all, of the true enjoyment found in Freemasonry beyond the ceremony itself.

Our sincere thanks go to Worshipful Master Stephen Kingcome, his officers, and all the brethren of Knights of the Road Lodge for an evening that perfectly combined ritual excellence, hospitality, and fellowship — an experience thoroughly enjoyed and fondly remembered by all. We would highly recommend a visit.
