We hope that back to school goes well
for all.

We wi be open from 3pm for any family of children and young people growing up with a hidden difference.

Send us a message or just drop in. We will be cooking tea just £2.50 a child to take the pressure off the first day back.

The kettle is on and the door about to open. We have about the same again and will keep refreshing stocks so that everyone gets a fair share of what is available.

We don’t have quite so much nor the selection of last week but we do still have a lot of food to share.

Given that it is bank holiday we are going to make the fairly broad assumption that the vast majority of people are not at work and therefore we will be open from 10am until 2pm or u til all the food is gone .. whichever comes first.

Please remember that there is a cost to Empathy For Special Children to collect and share this food so please do donate if you can.

What a week !

You all did amazingly on Monday, with very little going to waste - Thank You !

Now it's time to put some of that saved food to further good use and ENJOY ourselves.

As always, it is Open House from 10 am, and ALL are welcome to join us for lunch tomorrow; on the menu is Chicken Parmigiana, Pasta and Salad, followed by Summer Pudding and Cream.

Just £7.50 / adult and £3 for children under 10.

( There will be plain chicken and pasta for the kids, if they would prefer )

Arrive by 12 to eat at 12.30pm, please.

Vegetarians, Vegans and anyone with allergies or intolerances- if you could let us know in advance that you are joining us please.

Thank you all so much who called in this morning and helped us save good food from going to waste.

You have made a sterling effort but ! We have the same again to share between 5pm and 7pm so please do tell your friends and come down and see us at The Old Barclays Bank, Corvedale Road , Craven Arms.

Still lots to share ! We will get some photos up as soon as we can

Due to the new pick up from M and S Ludlow we have an extraordinary amount of food to share tomorrow. In addition to the usual bread and veg we have a LOT of sandwiches, wraps, chilled salads that sadly won’t freeze and must be eaten tomorrow.

Therefore we will be opening twice tomorrow

9.30 am - 12.30 pm

AND

5pm - 7 pm to give those who work or can’t make the morning the opportunity to stop good food going to waste.

It has been a huge effort today by 2 volunteers making in total 6 trips to Ludlow to ensure everything that could be saved was; with the freezers now full to busting to keep Community Lunch and Family drop in well fed for the foreseeable.

So please do donate all you can, because whilst the food costs nothing, the time, dedication and fuel of our volunteers does and we cannot do this without them.

Lunch at 12.30, please arrive by 12, Pulled Turkey, wedges and coleslaw followed by cheesecake today. £7.50 and adult, £3 / child ( pasta available upon on request for the children )

Josh Dickin working for Craven Arms Division will be with us for his regular Monday Open Surgery and there is
lot of eggs and fruit to share.

We will have some toys and crafts out so please do call in with your children or young people.
