Hi folks, I'm sure by now everyone has seen the letters posted through the letter box this evening about the play-parks in Drumbeg and Pinebank.
First of all, it's fantastic news! After all of the lobbying and hard work that went on behind the scenes over the years. It has paid off.
Second, thanks to everyone who worked towards this amazing result.
Thanks to the committee members of DNSRA and Meadowbrook, past and present, the members of the community for not giving up for the rights of our children in having a safe space to play.
Also a massive thank you to Catherine Nelson, who has supported this and fought hard in the biggest way possible! Thank you Catherine we couldn't have done it with you.
We would like to highlight that the Alliance Party has never had a part to play in this. They have never engaged or contacted us in relation to the play park (or anything else for that matter). We have to give credit where credit due and that is to Cllr Catherine Nelson sinn fein.
Finally, there will be an AGM arranged over the next few weeks. Keep watching the page.
