Café Abundance is a non-profit organisation that was established in 2020 during the Covid-19 to help those within the Craigavon Community that were struggling financially and to provide consistently nourishing meals, at no cost. or Café Abundance is to be a sit down, drop-in café. It will be a café that is ran specifically for those in the community that need support for themselves and their family with meals. As Covid prevented people from being able to meet indoors in restaurants we opened the café as a ‘meals on wheels’ structure. Our main aim is to show the love of God in our community by serving others and helping them when in need. To aid those financially challenged at this time we are providing a free hot meal and dessert once a week. We want to not only help remove the struggle from people’s lives, but we also want to create a place that Craigavon community can come together, to eat together and be there for each other. Our heart is to not only ease the burden but increase their hope. Café Abundance is owned by Lakeside Family Church, who are a well-known church within the Craigavon community since 1995, who have a huge passion and vision to help make a difference in the lives of those within the church vicinity.
