A huge thank you to our honoury Rotarian, Hannah Brear, her ‘Orchestra of the Gods’ and outstanding Gurnard and NHS Nightingales Choir for a fun packed evening of Gospel Carols and songs last night in aid of our Club. It was uplifting. Hope you enjoy this short video - “Something to be thankful for” - and indeed, we are ❤️

Good morning! It will soon be time to transport shoeboxes made up by our lovely Islanders to our mainland depot (just outside Southampton), as they start their journey to Eastern Europe and the Ukraine. Does any kind business have a hire van that they might allow us to use for a weekend day at the end of October? OR any removal company that has an empty van who could drop the boxes off for us? Tail lift preferred, but duel rear wheels essential ❤️

Good morning. Our Shoebox Appeal is underway for 2025. Last year we collected over 500 in Cowes alone and thanks to your generosity, made a difference to the poorest households in Eastern Europe, including Ukrainian children.
Boxes are available from Gurnard Press in Worsley Road as well as our local Primary Schools in the area. Cut off date is 25th October (15th October for schools). We have leaflets to explain what can be put in them, but information is also shown on the link below. Much love - and heartfelt thanks from us all at Cowes Rotary ❤️
