UKSA As a youth charity & maritime training academy, we believe in the power of the sea to change lives. Sea. Change. Careers.

We use the power of the sea to transform the lives of thousands of people each year. We provide life-changing opportunities to schools and groups, disadvantaged young people, and young offenders. We challenge them to transform and create opportunities for themselves. We are the world’s largest provider of marine training, from watersports instructors through to officers working on large vessels. We are proud of the large number of students who leave us to go on to a lifetime of opportunity.

With the weather heating up and more people heading onto the water this half term, this is such an important reminder from the RNLI 🌊

At UKSA, water safety is at the heart of everything we do. Whether you’re sailing, paddleboarding, swimming or simply enjoying the coast, knowing how to respond if you suddenly find yourself struggling in the water could save your life.

Float to Live:

✅ Tilt your head back with ears submerged
✅ Relax and try to breathe normally
✅ Move your hands and legs to help you stay afloat

Don’t panic if your legs sink - we all float differently

Once your breathing is under control, call for help or swim to safety.

Please take a moment to read and share this advice from the RNLI 💙
