'Initiate' is a hang-out spot for young people in Cowes. Your mates, Your space. If you're 14-18, come and meet some new people, bring your mates, listen to some good music, play some games, and have a laugh. What better way to spend your Friday evening?! We're asking for £1 donation to help us keep up and running and fund lots of cool stuff as we grow. We also have a very cheap snack bar with the
cheapest soft drinks and snacks going- fizzy cans, chocolate, sweets, and crisps. So bring some change. Every Friday 7-9pm. £1 entry (unless otherwise stated for larger events)

With your help, we plan to co-produce an awesome workshop programme where you'll be able to learn new skills and discover new hobbies. Breakdancing, photography, fashion customisation and art classes are just a few examples of what could be on offer. We'll be asking you to tell us where you'd like to go on trips out for team-building at places like Little Canada or headhunters. For anyone looking for experience in event management, marketing and PR, they'll be plenty of opportunity to get involved with planning, setting up and running events and putting our heads together to come up with fundraising initiatives. If you're a young creative, this will also be the perfect platform to make links with other like-minded individuals. Perhaps you're more sporty... let's set up a football team! Of course you should expect the usual 'youth club' essentials- a chill out area, a tuck shop and some games; X-box and stacks of games. Start something. Initiate.
