Huge thanks to everyone involved in another fantastic KJKW camp marking 40 years since our club was founded and 30 years us of being an independent organisation.
Congratulations to everyone on their efforts this weekend, especially those who attained new grades including, of course, brilliant new black belts Megan and Izzy.
Back to the dojos now to prepare for the next one (October 17/18).

PS Those who are now blue belt (8th kyu) are welcome/encouraged to attend the Tuesday evening kata session at Cowbridge Leisure Centre 6-7pm. Hopefully we’ll be able to fit everyone in!

Today 9 of KJKWs amazing junior high grades and assistant instructors gave up their Saturday morning to take part in a First Aid for Martial Arts course; they all did an excellent job and we couldn’t be more proud of them.

We want to say a massive thank you to Tom from Rescue Education for putting together this course and for coming out to us on a Saturday morning to deliver it!

It was good fun and engaging and I know all the guys really enjoyed themselves today learning and refreshing their first aid knowledge.
