Zoe's Place Baby Hospice Coventry Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice provides 24 hour high-quality care to babies and infants 0-6 years old What is Zoë’s Place?

There are around 23,500 children and 1,500 babies in the UK who have been diagnosed with an illness for which there is no reasonable cure, and their life-expectancy is limited. Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice opened in 2011 and provides 24 hour, high quality, one-to-one palliative, respite and end of life care to children aged 0-5 years. Our facilities include a multi-sensory suite, hydrotherapy bath, so

ft-play room, parent suite and sensory garden. Our specially trained care team offer unique and diverse opportunities for learning and play in a bespoke, child-friendly environment. These services and facilities are provided free of charge to families of the babies and infants, but for every hour of care we provide, for each child, we need to raise £25. A Personal Approach
Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice provides:
• 24 hour Respite and Palliative care
• 1 to 1 specialist care
• End of life care, supporting the whole family
• A bespoke child-friendly environment, including hydrotherapy, music therapy and multi-sensory environments.

Held in memory of Dazzie Smith, this incredible charity ride-out has brought people together year after year to raise an amazing £𝟭𝟮,𝟲𝟮𝟴.𝟴𝟰 for Zoe’s Place 🎉

We’d like to take a moment to recognise and thank everyone who has organised, supported and taken part in Dazzie’s Ride Out over the years. Your time, generosity and continued support make such a huge difference to our hospice and the babies and families we care for 💛

No matter the time or day, Penny is completely transfixed as bubbles float all around her. Watching them, reaching for them and trying to catch them brings so much joy! 💛

Our Zoe’s Place Elf Run kicks off on 1st December, and after seeing so many amazing schools and community groups get involved last year, we’re ready to make this year even bigger! But we need 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗘 elves… otherwise Tracy might get into trouble!!

Our incredible supporters took on the challenge of abseiling 180 feet down the iconic Coventry Cathedral, conquering their fears and bravely taking the plunge to raise money for Zoe’s Place! ⭐

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part, as well as everyone who came along to cheer them on and support this fantastic and incredibly brave fundraising challenge.

Today, we’re shining a spotlight on the wonderful Jess, one of the student nurses who has been at Zoe's recently, she has been part of the Zoe’s Place family for not one, not two, but 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗘 placements! 💛

Jess has brought her bubbly personality, infectious smile and sunshine energy to the Hospice, and she has been an absolute joy to have around ⭐

From the children to the clinical team, she will be so missed, but we know that wherever she goes next, she’ll continue to shine brightly!

And we have great news... 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗱! Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or just fancy getting out on your bike, there’s a route for you:

🚲 Short Route – 28.6 miles
A family-friendly ride through the Warwickshire countryside towards Hatton.

🚲 Long Route – 63.1 miles
A more challenging, undulating route taking in Snitterfield and Alcester.

🚲 Epic Route – 86.5 miles
For the serious cyclists! This route includes the famous Dover’s Hill in the Cotswolds, with gradients reaching up to 14%!

You can register through Zoe’s Place at no cost; all we ask is that you pledge to raise £𝟭𝟬𝟬 to help us continue providing our vital hospice services to babies and their families 💛

And if cycling isn’t your thing, you can still get involved! We will be running the refreshment station at Starley HQ and if you have an hour or so to spare, we’d love your help serving tea, coffee and cake and cheering on the riders!

At the end of July, finishing off a fantastic month of Go Yellow fun, Bede Care Home turned Bede Village yellow for a whole week, bringing everyone together for some wonderful activities! 💛 Richmond Bede Village

The week came to a fabulous finish on Friday 31st of July with a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆’𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝗱 🎩🫖🍰

Some of our Zoe’s Place team even popped along to thank everyone personally for their incredible support… and, of course, we couldn’t resist having a cake (or two)
