⚽️The Nest at The Holyhead for The Sky Blue Promotion Parade ⚽️

Monday was truly unforgettable and definitely one for the memory books 🎉⚽

We had the best day at The Holyhead celebrating Coventry City’s promotion alongside thousands of sky blue supporters. The Holyhead was in prime position for watching the open top bus parade pass by, and it was a sight we’ll never forget 🩵

It was fantastic to be able to spread awareness of The Nest, be part of such an incredible day for our city, and bring a bit of joy to the children attending The Holyhead with blue glitter face painting, sky blue sweets and lucky dip bags.

We’re absolutely delighted to have raised over £1,000 for The Nest Coventry CIC whilst also raising awareness of the support we provide for local children and young people with SEND and their families.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to support us, to The Holyhead for being so welcoming and accommodating throughout the day, and to our amazing volunteers who helped make the day so special.

The Holyhead Pub has the best beer garden view of the parade, and we’ll be right there at the heart of the action as the bus hits the Sky Blue Mile, the final straight of the parade!

This handy worksheet was kindly produced for us by Inclusive SEND Advocacy and SEND Sense Advocacy, and it breaks down what you might hear, what it actually means, and what you can say back.

It’s simple, practical, and something you can refer back to when you’re navigating conversations around EHCPs and support. 💛
