We have been campaigning against privately managed estates for over a decade now. Eight years ago we as a network of affected homebuyers and estate residents came to understand that only universal adoption (that means retro as well as pro spective) will rectify the exploitation of estate residents a...

For those who live on Astoria Drive a reminder of the letter received back in Feb 2026 which indicated changes being made for road safety reasons, including raised tables and speed bumps.

We have checked Causeways One.Network (https:\\one.network\) and no roadworks are currently showing for the next 3 months at least.

We have asked the contact when the works will be happening given we are roughly halfway through spring as it is. As soon as we get a reply we will let everyone know.

Hawkshurst Planning Application

This planned development in Solihull bordering our western boundary has still not come before planning yet again. We will continue to keep a close eye on it to check when it comes up but we have been doing this since Sept last year and no joy as yet.

This has been our message for some years now, regulation of agents just doesn't hack it. We have an opportunity to send this message to government via its Reducing the prevalence consultation which does talk about adoption going forward, but is inadequate to deal with existing estates. It's important to respond to consultations - we believe the positive outcome of the CMA market study in identifying lack of adoption as the underlying problem might have been very different if a record number of 250 individual responses had not been submitted. It is vital that government gets grass....

Has anyone logged in to the Greenbelt website recently? If so have you noticed the Community Noticeboard and the Development Visits?

As you can see from the pictures there is nothing worth noting in them, however how straight forward would it be for the Site Visit to be uploaded when they are on site? Simple answer is shouldn’t be a lot of development.

This would go some way to providing transparency but until the Site Visit available to view it merely states they were on site. So we will be asking Greenbelt about this feature (queue the vague reply no doubt that we will get). To me this needs a written update but more importantly including photo evidence of each visit and GPS tagging to prove they visited and the image (eg evidence) available to download with the meta data.

FAO All residents - 13th Jan 2026 Residents Meeting - CANCELLED

Just a quick note to say we have decided to cancel the Residents Association meeting on Tues 13th Jan.

The reason being mainly no real updates but also the distinct possibility we may need 2 meetings in early Feb. Feb 10th is the next meeting but on Feb 11th we have the Solihull Planning Meeting where they could put Hawkshurst forward. Problem is we won’t know until 4th Feb and then have a week to sort it out.

If anyone has anything they wish to raise contact Bannerbrook Park Coventry via Facebook Messenger or email [email protected] and will endeavour to assist.
