Squirrels had a busy session tonight. After some sweeping of leaves and a warm up game we decorated squirrels with autumn leaves and bestowed special powers on them. We also decorated dogs and have hidden them around the room for Beavers and Cubs to find. Then a fun parachute session and we finished tasting french cakes and learning to say Merci! Many thanks to Mark and Isabelle helping Arkala and Tufty tonight.

Squirrels had an active start to our session as energy levels were high! We did warm up exercises followed by two laps of the car park. Back inside we drew pictures of ourselves as super heroes. We then dug in enthusiastically replanting one of the tyres with spring bulbs and flowers. A bit of Lego as well. Thank you to Isabelle helping Arkala and Tufty.

Squirrels worked on their Go Wild badge talking about wild animals we see around us and how we might help them now summer is ending. We decorated some hedgehogs - some had extra superpowers! Then a spontaneous paper airplane session and we finished off making Oreo cookie moon phases. We also celebrated our latest two squirrels getting their Chief Scout Acorn awards. Well done!! Many thanks to Ed and Isabelle who helped Arkala and Tufty.

Squirrels did some thinking about Planets in our solar system. We went out into the woods to collect some autumn treasures and greenery to make pictures of our beautiful Earth. Of course we finished off the session with a Rocket Lolly! Many thanks to Isabelle and our parent helpers each week helping Arkala and Tufty.
