Refugee Hope

Refugee Hope We aim to meet humanitarian goals, and provide long-term sustainable community projects to support communities displaced by famine, drought or conflict.

We at Refugee Hope have big ideas to help achieve our goals. We're not scared of failure, the only failure is never to try. The projects we will be working on this coming year are:

• Drawing4Disasters
A community participation project: To equip refugee communities with tools to create their own marketable and saleable products, which will reflect their experience as refugees. The project will tar

get specifically young people currently unemployed and not in education with the aim of establishing a role in their communities. The products produced will be marketed and sold through the charity website and selected stores and the finance raised through these sales will be spent on community agreed products.

• Relief4Refugees
A direct relief fund: To enable participants on future Majid AlSadi Programmes to support refugees through the purchasing of essential relief items and to improve shelter and living conditions.

• Skills4Refugee
A project that will look at using the skills possessed in the University to train, teach and enable refugees to manage their situations more efficiently and equip refugees with skills for their futures. This project will take the longest to set up but will hopefully have the most sustainable results in terms of what we can achieve when working with refugees. At present we are looking to work with the agriculture, engineering, disaster management and health care departments in the University

• Play4All
A project purely based on providing refugees with positive memories through play and activities. These activities will be provided through the Charity and involve skill basis in the University.
