"I'd love to invite you to our Industry Night for our exhibition ‘Slow Burn’. This is taking place on Thursday 14th May at the Delia Derbyshire 7th Floor Studios, CV1 5PH, from 5pm onwards.

It will be an evening of engagement, conversation, and meeting emerging artists and creatives. There is work for everyone and anyone to enjoy - ranging from painting, printmaking, digital, sculpture and installation.

We would love to have you there — please feel free to come along and bring others who may be interested.

Help Us Solve Coventry’s Creative Space Crisis and win a £100 gift voucher to spend at Cass Art - LINK IN BIO!

It is no secret that finding affordable, accessible creative space in Coventry is a major hurdle for our local artists and makers. Whether it is a lack of studio provisions or limited room to collaborate, the struggle to find a "creative home" in the city is a known problem that we are determined to address.

At Coventry Artspace, we are working hard to deeply understand the needs of our city and its people. Our goal is to gather clear, actionable data that we can present to those with the power to support and fund new provisions. By showing the real demand and specific requirements of our community, we can work toward a long-term solution that finally resolves this space crisis.

We need your help to make this happen. Please take 10 minutes of your time to fill out our survey and share your experiences with us. To say thank you for your time, everyone who completes the survey will be entered into a prize draw to win a £100 gift voucher for art supplies. And don’t forget to share this survey with your friends and networks.

Make sure to submit your responses by midday on 27th March to ensure your voice is heard and to be eligible for the prize draw.

We believe in transparency, so we will be sharing the findings of this data with everyone once the study is complete. Your voice is essential in helping us build a better future for the arts in Coventry.

During this pivotal time for Coventry Artspace, staff, trustees and studio holders came together for a reflective Away Day with recently appointed critical friend Dave Charlesworth of KitMapper Venture Studio to discuss what we feel is needed, and wanted, from the charity moving forward.

Many thanks to Talking Birds for hosting us, to Miss Ellie's of Coventry for the lovely catering and to studio holders Veronica Grant, Jonny Nicholds, Polly Merredew, Tabitha D Michael, Bengy Speer and Paul Lemmon for bringing so much insight into the space.

This Away Day will help form where Coventry Artspace goes next, both physically and strategically. Thank you to Coventry City Council for funding this work through their Cultural Resilience Grants programme.
