Tonight was one of the most chilled Thursday night sessions we’ve had at The Crez in a long time. We enjoyed making bird feeders, creating colourful suncatchers and feasting on delicious chicken burgers together.

The evening was filled with great conversations about last night’s thunderstorm, different music tastes and interests, as well as hearing all about the hobbies some of our young people enjoy, including horse riding. It was lovely to see everyone relaxed, engaged and enjoying each other’s company.

Baking brownies and playing Uno sounds like the perfect way to spend a Wednesday evening!

We had lots of fun getting busy in the kitchen, working together to make delicious brownies, and then enjoying the results of all our hard work afterwards with a game of Uno and plenty of laughs.

We had a fun evening tonight at Park Edge Bell Green making bird feeders and sun catchers, along with a friendly game on the PS4.

The weather was hot today, so we spent some time sitting in a shaded area on the green taking part in calming sensory activities with ice to help keep us cool. We enjoyed mixing ice cubes and water and watching the colours change using food colouring. It was lovely to see everyone getting involved, being creative and enjoying the sunshine together.

Last night was a busy youth session for us at The Crez. It was lovely to see some new faces alongside familiar ones too. A big thank you to Chelsea for getting the tunes on and keeping the atmosphere lively. Everybody had a fantastic time dancing, laughing and enjoying the evening together.

We had a fantastic mentoring session yesterday baking delicious millionaire shortbread! 🍫🍪

It was a lovely session filled with laughter, teamwork and plenty of creativity in the kitchen. Our young person got stuck in making the layers from scratch and the finished treats looked amazing!

A busy and fun Ready Steady Cook session tonight at Pathways Family Hub where our young people got stuck into making tasty chicken burgers and chips 🍔🍟

Everyone worked really well together in the kitchen, helping with preparation, cooking and serving up their delicious meals. It was great to see confidence growing and lots of smiles all round during another fantastic session!

A wonderful final mentoring session of the term with some fantastic young people baking delicious fairy cakes 🧁

The kitchen was full of smiles, laughter and the smell of freshly baked cakes as everybody got involved mixing, decorating and showing off their creativity. It has been amazing watching our young people grow in confidence and build positive relationships throughout the term.

What high energy, fast paced youth group sessions we have had these past few evenings at The Crez and at Park Edge Family Hub!

Our young people were fully engaged in a variety of activities and it was so lovely to see some new faces joining us too!

We started our sessions by splitting into groups and rotating around different activities. From baking fresh brownies, to making seed bombs, relaxing in the games room on the PlayStation, and enjoying some mindfulness colouring, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

In celebration of Bee Week, we made our very own seed bombs with the hope of planting more flowers and helping bees to thrive in our community. 🐝🌼

We also had some fantastic discussions about honey, where it comes from, and the important role bees play in our environment. It’s been fun, busy and educational sessions all round!
