CCEC is looking for an Energy Champions Project Officer to support our work tackling fuel poverty in Hillfields. This is a full-time role and a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the community, working closely with local residents and volunteers. Training provided!

Location: WATCH Centre, Hillfields, Coventry
Hours: 31 hours per week (9 months fixed term – Maternity cover)
Salary: £13.45 per hour (Real Living Wage)

With the extreme temperatures expected this week, the WATCH Centre will be closed from 3pm on Wednesday 24th and all day Thursday 25th to help keep our community safe.

This means there will be no youth sessions, but don’t worry, Hillz FM will still be broadcasting as normal!

Please remember to stay hydrated, avoid spending too much time in direct sunlight, and check in on family, friends and neighbours who may be vulnerable to the heat.

Yesterday, Coventry Energy Champions took part in the National Energy Action conference – West Midlands Fuel Poverty Forum.
Andy and Alex were speakers at the event, sharing insights about our project and our plans for the future. It was a very valuable experience and a great opportunity to showcase our work, exchange knowledge, and connect with other organisations committed to tackling fuel poverty across the West Midlands.
