🎉 **50 years of friendship, commitment and community**

West Lothian Circle recently celebrated an incredible milestone as Tom McFeat marked 50 years as a Catenian.

Tom was presented with his 50-year scroll at the Hilcroft Hotel on Oct. 7, surrounded by members from West Lothian, Stirling, Edinburgh, Dundee and Perth circles. His wife and son were also there to share the special occasion.

But 50 years isn't just about the number.

Tom has played an important role in welcoming new members, regularly attending Circle events and contributing to discussions and activities. His enthusiasm for the Catenians and the people around him has made him a highly valued member of the Province.

Provincial Director John Russell read tributes to Tom, accompanied by Provincial President Kevin Campbell and Past National President Eddie O'Donnell.

As one tribute put it, Tom is held in high regard across the Province, with former Grand Presidents joining the many people congratulating an exceptional Catenian.

Congratulations, Tom — 50 years is an incredible achievement, and a wonderful example of what lasting friendship and community can mean. 👏🥂

💚 **A very special celebration for Burnley Catenians**

Burnley Catenians recently celebrated the baptism of **baby Francis Nnamdi**, the first baby born into a Catenian family in the Circle for several years.

Francis’ parents, **Bukas and Rebecca Okey-Amechi**, both hail from Nigeria, and Bukas joined the Circle in February 2025.

Francis was baptised at **St. John the Baptist Church in Padiham**, with family, friends and fellow Catenians coming together to celebrate this special milestone.

A wonderful occasion — and a lovely reminder that the Catenians are about **faith, friendship and being there for one another through life's important moments.** 💚

🎉 **50 years of friendship and service**

A special evening for North Warwickshire Circle as they celebrated **50 years in the Association for Past Grand President John Clarke**.

John marked the incredible milestone on Monday evening alongside Immediate Past GB President Gerry McCormack.

Half a century is a remarkable achievement — representing countless friendships, shared experiences and memories along the way.

Congratulations, John, on an incredible 50 years! 👏🥂

Our Prayers are with the Pope at this time following his operation.

“It is with gratitude and relief that we learned that Pope Leo’s surgery on Tuesday (13 October) at Rome’s Gemelli Hospital was successful.

“We now know that Pope Leo was diagnosed with lung carcinoma and, in this month of the Holy Rosary, we entrust his recovery to the maternal care of Our Lady Health of the Sick.

“I ask that Catholics in England and Wales, and indeed all people of goodwill, pray for Pope Leo – in our homes and in our parishes – that he may be restored to full health after a period of rest and recuperation.

“We also remember all those who are experiencing illness at this time, and keep them, their families and those who care for the sick in our prayers.”

Today we celebrate the life, work & teaching of Saint John Henry Newman. Many Catenians feel a deep connection to the opening of "God has created me to do Him some definite service. He has committed some work to me which He has not committed to another. I have my mission. I may never know it in this life, but I shall be told it in the next. I am a link in a chain, a bond of connection between persons. He has not created me for naught. I shall do good; I shall do His work."
** Being a link in a chain & a bond of connection between persons Is exactly what Catenians is about whilst we go about our lives trying to do good & do His work
