On Sunday 19th April, our team of amazing runners got up early to complete the 13.1 miles + at the Coventry Half Marathon, to support people experiencing homelessness.

They started off at Coventry Cathedral, running the route past landmarks such as Allesley Park Fairy Village, Coventry Peace Orchard & Coundon Hall Park. There were also cheering points & entertainment along the way.

A Massive thank you & congratulations go to Anton, Aimee & Claire. Collectively they managed to raise an amazing Β£752.50!!
Our JustGiving link is still open for those still wanting to contribute:

We would also like to thank Philippa, Sara, Dilbag, Hemangi, Manpreet & Omkar for representing Cyrenians by volunteering to be marshals giving out water etc, and to Steve, Martyn, Lauran, Scott, Tarinee & Rishika for supporting Cyrenians runners (and all others passing by!) on our cheering station which was based outside the Holyhead Pub.

Runners who took part in a half marathon have received an apology from organisers after an investigation revealed the event was too long.

πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ Coventry Half Marathon – Sunday 19th April πŸ’™

Aimee, Anton, Claire & James are taking on the Coventry Half Marathon β€” and they need your support now more than ever.

Every single day, we support people in Coventry who are experiencing homelessness. Rising costs and increasing demand mean your donations go directly towards helping people access safe accommodation, essential support, and the chance to rebuild their lives.

This run is more than a challenge β€” it’s a lifeline for the people we support.

πŸ’™ Please donate if you can, and share to help us reach more people.
