We would like to say a big thank you to Nigel Betts Estates Sustainability Manager at the Department of Education who donated 30 chairs to Cyrenians. We will use these in our meeting rooms and Reception at our Head Office and also or use them for our built in desks at some of our hostels.

We would like to say a massive thank you to Jackie Walker and everyone involved who organised a fundraising day in memory of her late husband, Andy Walker, which was a great success.

Friends, family and local businesses came together to support the event by generously donating fantastic raffle and auction prizes, helping raise vital funds for a worthy cause. The day also featured a football tournament with teams competing for the winner’s trophy making it a memorable occasion for all involved.

Thanks to the incredible generosity and support of everyone who attended, donated and volunteered, £5,144.47 was raised for the Coventry Cyrenians Charity in Andy Walker’s memory and making a lasting difference to those in need within our community.

On Saturday 1st August, with blue skies & sunshine, our amazing team supporting Coventry Cyrenians took on the Coventry Cathedral Charity Abseil Challenge—bravely descending 90 feet down one of the city's most iconic landmarks!

We would like to say a huge thank you to Shumail, Pav, Jane & Charlotte for conquering their fears and being brave enough to take part, and everyone who came along to cheer them on, and to our volunteers Feyi & Rishika to helped to man the stall.

We not only raised awareness about Cyrenians but also and £560 to support those facing homelessness across Coventry and Warwickshire. 🙌❤️

This year the charity stalls were in the incredible cathedral ruins and it was good to connect with other organisations in our community, and to see many families enjoying a day out.

Every pound raised helps us provide supported accommodation and personalised support to those who need it most.

We would to say a big thank you to the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star Women Fellowship Group who collect items of food and then visited Cyrenians to drop them off. It was lovely to meet them all; Sister’s Bisi, Pru, Cassie, Ayo & Rhoda, who are based at the Coventry Branch in Holbrooks.

Their donation included; pasta, noodles, tinned meat & potatoes, and rice pudding which are perfect for us to hand out to our Services Users when in need.
