Skills for Care is seeking feedback from individual employers and personal assistants (PAs) to help build a clearer picture of the sector today and its future workforce needs.

The surveys explore current experiences, key challenges, emerging opportunities and areas where further workforce development or skills support may be needed. The findings will contribute to an insights report for the Department of Health and Social Care - DHSC and help inform future discussions about workforce planning, skills development and sector growth.

People living with long-term conditions, including Multiple Sclerosis, Spinal Cord Injury and Spina Bifida, may be at risk of developing pressure ulcers.

A new website has been developed with input from people with long-term conditions, carers, personal assistants and healthcare professionals to provide information and advice on pressure ulcer prevention at home.

Our Essex team attended the Chelmsford Careers Fair this week, organised by The UK Careers Fair, speaking with people from the local community about employment, support services and opportunities connected to Penderels Trust.

Our team had a busy and productive day, meeting job seekers, speaking with other local organisations and raising awareness of the work we do in Essex.
